Carrying the Legacy of Our Fathers

Sons of AMVETS is a nationwide service organization comprised of male descendants of American veterans. As part of the AMVETS family, we are united in service and dedicated to improving the quality of life, advocating legislation for increased benefits and care, and providing and supporting charitable assistance to veterans, their families, and the community.

Our History

Our Sons Squadron was founded on May 21, 2025. This was a Historic day for Post 13 as a total of 13 sons and grandsons of veterans came together to start our sons squadron. This event was over 3 years in the making with countless hours of planning, recruiting, and long hours went into making this happen. Past National Commander Chuck Taylor swore in the 1st Squadron Commander Manny Rodriquez along with the rest of the executive board. This was witnessed by many a proud father and grand father who watched their sons and sons of other Veterans coming together for the cause of supporting Veterans in Waushara County.
